This nineteenth-century house has undergone some alterations and additions over the years, retaining however a remarkable charm especially in the stone-made nucleus and in the park.

The owner is specially careful to environment. Cultivation of vegetables, fruits and organic olive oil for personal use is part of the house life-style.

The renovation was therefore carried out in accordance with the best dictates of bio-architecture: a survey about the natural electromagnetism of site, biocompatibleand traditional local materials, plants geared to eco-sustainability and micro-environmental health.

The floors are kind of “terrazzo floor” from Lecce area designed ad hoc in patterns and colors, the interior plaster is lime made added with oxides and waxes, exterior plaster is silicate made, the radiant heating system is “on baseboard” and biomass powered, electrical plant is “stellar type” bioswitched in the night zone.
